A proper rally needs more than motorcycles, music and a good kuier. It needs people on the ground who know what to do when help is needed.
Here is what you should know about security and medical assistance at Veldskoen Rally.
CSS SECURITY AT THE GATES
CSS Security will provide two armed-response vehicles, with one stationed at each of the two gates.
The gates will be staffed around the clock from:
Thursday, 24 September at 06:00
until
Sunday, 27 September at 06:00
A dedicated CSS Security station, with a gazebo, table and chairs, will also be positioned at the main gate.
If a serious emergency occurs anywhere on the rally grounds, one of the CSS Security vehicles can be contacted on-site to provide assistance.
Please follow instructions from CSS Security, gate staff and rally officials throughout the weekend.
Designated parking areas will be available for cars and support vehicles.
Car guards will be on duty 24 hours a day for the duration of the rally. Please lock your vehicle properly, remove valuables from view and park only in the designated areas.
Noxems medical personnel will be on-site, with a medical tent and ambulance available during the rally.
If you or someone near you needs medical assistance, alert the nearest security officer, marshal or event staff member immediately.
