Suzuki Hayabusa Promotional Draw – Terms & Conditions
By participating in the Suzuki Hayabusa Promotional Draw, entrants agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. PROMOTER
The Suzuki Hayabusa Promotional Draw is organised and conducted by Liquorice (Pty) Ltd t/a Veldskoen Rally (“the Promoter”).

2. THE PRODUCT
2.1 The official Veldskoen Rally keyring is a branded promotional product retailing at R200.
2.2 Purchase of an official Veldskoen Rally keyring includes one entry into the Suzuki Hayabusa Promotional Draw.
2.3 The keyring is a physical product and must be collected at the Event. No postal or courier delivery is provided.
2.4 Failure to collect the physical keyring does not invalidate the associated draw entry, provided the purchase was successfully completed and the entry is recorded in the official competition database.
3. ENTRY
3.1 Each qualifying R200 keyring purchase includes one entry into the Suzuki Hayabusa draw.
3.2 Multiple keyrings may be purchased. Each qualifying keyring purchase provides an additional entry.
3.3 There is no limit to the number of qualifying keyrings an individual may purchase.
3.4 Each valid entry will be assigned and recorded in the official competition database.
3.5 Entries are non-transferable.
3.6 Paid entries close at 21:00 on Saturday, 26 September 2026.
Entries received after the closing time will not be included in the draw.
4. FREE ENTRY OPTION
4.1 A no-purchase entry option was made available during the official free-entry periods published for the competition:
27 March 2026 from 00:00 to 29 March 2026 at 24:00; and
3 April 2026 from 00:00 to 5 April 2026 at 24:00.
4.2 These free-entry periods have now closed.
4.3 Valid free entries submitted, verified and approved during the applicable free-entry periods remain eligible for the Suzuki Hayabusa draw in accordance with the Promotional Competition Rules.
5. DRAW DETAILS
5.1 The draw will take place live at Veldskoen Rally.
Date: Saturday, 26 September 2026
Time: 22:00
Location: Main Stage, Klerksdorp Dam
5.2 The winner is not required to be present at the Event at the time of the draw.
5.3 The winning entry will be selected from the official competition database using a verifiable random selection process.
5.4 The draw will be overseen by an independent auditor or suitably qualified person.
5.5 A record of the draw and winning entry will be retained.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION
6.1 The winner is not required to be present at the draw.
6.2 Following the draw, the Promoter will verify the selected winning entry against the official competition records.
6.3 The Promoter will make reasonable and persistent efforts to contact the verified winner using the contact information supplied with the entry, including telephone, WhatsApp and email.
6.4 Where the winner cannot be reached using the supplied telephone, WhatsApp or email details, the Promoter may use other contact information legitimately supplied by the winner, including the residential address supplied with the entry, in an effort to locate and notify the winner.
6.5 A verified winner will not forfeit the prize merely because they cannot immediately be contacted or do not respond within a specified number of days.
6.6 Before the motorcycle is released, the winner must provide reasonable proof of identity and any information reasonably required to verify that they are the lawful holder of the winning entry.
6.7 If exceptional circumstances arise that make it impossible for the prize to be awarded to the verified winner, the matter will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law and the official competition records.
7. PRIZE
7.1 The prize consists of one brand-new Suzuki Hayabusa 2026 model motorcycle, as supplied by the official supplier.
Approximate retail value: R361,000.
7.2 The motorcycle is awarded as received from the supplier. No modifications or customisation are included unless expressly stated.
7.3 The motorcycle will have a full tank of fuel at the time of handover.
7.4 No delivery is included as part of the prize. Handover or collection arrangements will be made between the verified winner and the Promoter.
7.5 The prize is not transferable.
7.6 No cash alternative will be offered.
8. WINNER RESPONSIBILITIES AND HANDOVER
8.1 The winner is responsible for:
vehicle registration;
licensing;
number plates;
insurance;
roadworthy certification, if required;
applicable taxes or fees; and
costs associated with collecting or transporting the motorcycle.
8.2 The winner must hold a valid South African Code A motorcycle licence at the time of prize handover.
8.3 The winner and Promoter will make reasonable arrangements for completion of the necessary documentation and handover of the motorcycle following verification of the winning entry.
8.4 Where insurance is required before the motorcycle can lawfully or safely be released into the winner’s care, the winner must arrange and provide proof of the required insurance.
9. KEYRING PURCHASES AND EVENT CHANGES
9.1 Keyring purchases are non-refundable, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African consumer-protection legislation.
9.2 If Veldskoen Rally is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may, subject to applicable law:
reschedule the draw;
conduct the draw on an alternative date; or
take such other action as may be required under applicable consumer-protection legislation.
9.3 Cancellation or postponement of the physical Event does not automatically cancel valid entries already recorded in the official competition database.
10. SUPPLIER CONTINGENCY
10.1 Should the advertised motorcycle become unavailable due to supplier withdrawal or circumstances reasonably beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may, subject to applicable law, substitute the prize with a motorcycle of similar value and specification.
11. DISQUALIFICATION
11.1 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entrant who:
provides false or fraudulent personal or contact information;
engages in fraudulent activity;
attempts to manipulate the draw process;
attempts to create fraudulent entries; or
otherwise breaches the applicable Promotional Competition Rules.
12. LIABILITY
12.1 The Promoter shall not be liable for loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the competition or use of the prize except to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12.2 The Promoter will not be responsible for an entrant’s failure to receive an entry confirmation email where the valid entry is nevertheless correctly recorded in the official competition database.
13. PUBLICITY
13.1 The winner may be requested to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the competition, including photographs and media announcements, subject to applicable law.
14. DATA PROTECTION
14.1 Personal information will be processed for legitimate competition administration, entry verification, draw administration, winner verification and prize handover purposes in accordance with applicable South African data-protection legislation.
14.2 Contact and other information legitimately supplied with an entry may be used for the purpose of locating and contacting the verified winner.
15. ACCEPTANCE
15.1 Participation in the Suzuki Hayabusa Promotional Draw constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
15.2 Purchase of an official Veldskoen Rally keyring constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in respect of the associated paid draw entry.
