Suzuki Hayabusa Promotional Draw – Terms & Conditions

By purchasing the official Veldskoen Rally keyring, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. PROMOTER

The Suzuki Hayabusa promotional draw is organised and conducted by the Veldskoen Rally Organising Committee (“the Promoter”).

2. THE PRODUCT

2.1 The official Veldskoen Rally keyring is a branded promotional product retailing at R200. 2.2 The keyring is a physical product. The draw entry is incidental to the product purchase. 2.3 The keyring must be collected at the event gate on arrival. No postal delivery is provided. 2.4 Failure to collect the keyring at the gate does not invalidate the draw entry, provided payment was successfully processed.

3. ENTRY

3.1 Each keyring purchased equals one entry into the Suzuki Hayabusa draw. 3.2 A unique entry number will be issued immediately to the purchaser’s email address upon successful PayFast payment. 3.3 The entry number is recorded in the official draw database. 3.4 There is no limit to the number of keyrings an individual may purchase. 3.5 Entries are non-transferable.

4. FREE ENTRY OPTION

4.1 A free entry option is available in accordance with Section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Details are published on the official website at veldskoenrally.co.za.

5. DRAW DETAILS

5.1 The draw will take place live at the Veldskoen Rally. 5.2 Date: Saturday, 26 September 2026 5.3 Time: 21:00 5.4 Location: Main Stage, Klerksdorp Dam 5.5 The winner is not required to be present at the event. 5.6 The winning entry will be selected using a verified random number generator process. 5.7 The draw will be overseen by an independent auditor. The auditor’s confirmation of the result shall be final and binding.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION

6.1 The winner will be contacted within 72 hours of the draw using the contact details provided at purchase. 6.2 Contact will be attempted via phone call, WhatsApp, and email. 6.3 A maximum of three attempts will be made over three consecutive days. 6.4 If the winner cannot be reached after three attempts across three days, a redraw will take place and a new winner will be selected.

7. PRIZE

7.1 The prize consists of one brand-new Suzuki Hayabusa 2026 model motorcycle as supplied by the official supplier. Retail value: R361,000. 7.2 The motorcycle is awarded as received from the supplier. No modifications or customisation are included unless expressly stated. 7.3 The motorcycle will have a full tank of fuel at the time of handover. No delivery is provided. The winner is responsible for collecting the motorcycle from the designated handover location confirmed by the Promoter. 7.4 The prize is not transferable. 7.5 No cash alternative will be offered.

8. WINNER RESPONSIBILITIES

8.1 The winner is solely responsible for:

  • Vehicle registration
  • Licensing
  • Number plates
  • Insurance
  • Roadworthy certification (if required)
  • Any applicable taxes or fees
  • All costs to collect or transport the motorcycle

8.2 The winner must hold a valid South African Code A motorcycle licence at the time of prize handover. 8.3 The prize must be claimed within 14 days of winner notification. Failure to claim within this period may result in forfeiture of the prize, at the Promoter’s discretion. 8.4 If the winner is unable to collect the motorcycle immediately after all paperwork has been concluded, the winner must arrange and provide proof of valid insurance before the motorcycle is released into their care. 8.5 The motorcycle will be held at a designated location to be confirmed by the Promoter for a maximum of one (1) calendar month from the date of prize confirmation. Failure to collect within this period may result in forfeiture of the prize, at the Promoter’s discretion.

9. REFUND POLICY

9.1 The R200 keyring purchase is final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including event cancellation or postponement. 9.2 In the event of cancellation or postponement of the Veldskoen Rally, the Promoter reserves the right to:

  • Reschedule the draw, or
  • Conduct the draw on an alternative date

The Promoter’s decision in this regard shall be final.

10. SUPPLIER CONTINGENCY

10.1 Should the prize become unavailable due to supplier withdrawal or circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a motorcycle of similar value and specification.

11. DISQUALIFICATION

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  • Provides false contact or personal information
  • Engages in fraudulent activity
  • Attempts to manipulate the draw process
  • Submits duplicate entries linked to the same ID number

12. LIABILITY

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:

  • Lost or undelivered entry confirmation emails
  • Technical failures beyond its control
  • Any injury, loss or damage arising from participation in the draw

Participation in the draw is at the entrant’s own risk.

13. PUBLICITY

The winner agrees to reasonable publicity, including photographs and media announcements related to the draw.

14. DATA PROTECTION

Personal information will be processed solely for draw administration, winner verification, and prize announcement, in accordance with applicable South African data protection legislation (POPIA).

15. ACCEPTANCE

By purchasing the official Veldskoen Rally keyring, the purchaser agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
