PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION RULES
1. PROMOTER
1.1 Liquorice (Pty) Ltd t/a Veldskoen Rally (“the Promoter”).

2. COMPETITION PERIOD
2.1 The competition will run from 20 March 2026 to 26 September 2026 at 16:00 (“the Competition Period”).
2.2 No entries received after the closing date will be accepted.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Participants must be 18 years or older.
3.2 Participants must possess a valid South African identity document or passport.
3.3 Directors, members, employees, agents of the Promoter and their immediate families are excluded.
4. NATURE OF COMPETITION
4.1 This is a promotional competition as defined in section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
4.2 Participation is voluntary and subject to these rules.
5. HOW TO ENTER
5.1 Purchase of a Veldskoen Rally access pass constitutes automatic entry into applicable draws.
5.2 Additional entries may be allocated via promotional campaigns.
5.3 All entries will be recorded and assigned a unique reference number.
5.4 FREE ENTRY OPTION (NO PURCHASE NECESSARY)
Free entry into both the QJ SRT 900 draw and the Suzuki Hayabusa draw is available during the following periods:
• 27 March 2026 from 00h00 to 29 March 2026 at 24h00
• 3 April 2026 from 00h00 to 5 April 2026 at 24h00
5.4.1 How to Enter for Free
Free entries must be submitted via the official online form at veldskoenrally.co.za during the above periods only. No other submission method will be accepted.
5.4.2 Required Documents
The following certified documents must be uploaded with the free entry submission:
• Certified copy of a valid South African identity document
• Certified copy of proof of residential address (not older than 3 months)
• Certified copy of a valid South African Code A motorcycle licence
All three documents are compulsory. Submissions missing any document will be automatically disqualified. No resubmission will be permitted.
5.4.3 Limitation
One free entry per person per ID number. Duplicate submissions linked to the same ID number will be disqualified.
5.4.4 Verification
All free entries submitted during each free entry weekend will be verified in one batch after that weekend closes. Entries that fail verification will be disqualified. Disqualified entrants will be notified via the contact details provided at submission.
5.4.5 Valid Entry
A free entry is only valid once:
• all three required documents have been successfully uploaded
• the submission has been verified and approved
• the entry has been recorded in the official draw database
5.4.6 Equal Participation
All valid free entries will be included in the same draw pool as purchase-based entries.
6. PRIZES
6.1 One (1) QJ SRT 900 Motorcycle
Approximate retail value: R181,500 (2026 model).
Awarded by random draw.
6.2 One (1) Suzuki Hayabusa Motorcycle
Approximate retail value: R361,000 (2026 model).
Awarded by random draw.
6.3 Lifan Machete 125cc – Club Award
Approximate retail value: R16,500.
An additional prize consisting of a Lifan Machete 125cc motorcycle will be awarded as follows:
• This prize is not allocated by random draw
• The prize will be awarded to the motorcycle club that purchases the highest number of Veldskoen Rally access tickets during the competition period
6.3.1 Determination of Winner
• Ticket purchases will be tracked via the official ticketing system
• The method by which club affiliation will be tracked and attributed will be communicated via official channels prior to the competition period
• The club with the highest verified number of access ticket purchases will be declared the winner
6.3.2 Verification
The Promoter reserves the right to:
• verify all ticket purchases
• require confirmation of club affiliation
• disqualify any fraudulent or manipulated entries
6.3.3 Allocation of Prize
The prize will be awarded to the winning club, and:
• the club must nominate a representative to receive the motorcycle
• the Promoter shall not be responsible for any internal disputes within the club regarding ownership or use of the prize
The Promoter shall not entertain any competing claims from members of the winning club once a nominated recipient has been confirmed.
6.3.4 Costs
All costs associated with the motorcycle, including:
• licensing
• registration
• insurance
• delivery
shall be for the account of the winning club unless otherwise stated.
7. DRAW PROCESS
7.1 Draws will be conducted using a verifiable random process.
7.2 The draw will be conducted under the supervision of an independent auditor or suitably qualified person.
7.3 A record of the draw will be retained.
8. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PUBLICATION
8.1 Winners will be notified via the contact details provided.
8.2 Winners must respond within 7 days.
8.3 Failing response, an alternative winner may be selected.
8.4 Winners may be announced on official platforms including website and social media.
9. DATA PROTECTION
9.1 By entering, participants consent to the processing of personal information for purposes of this competition.
9.2 Information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation or use of any prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
11. GENERAL
11.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these rules where required by law.
11.2 All disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law.
11.3 Participation constitutes acceptance of these rules.
EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. ACCEPTANCE
By attending the Veldskoen Rally (“the Event”), all participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. PARTICIPATION AT OWN RISK
Attendance and participation in the Event occur entirely at the participant’s own risk.
Participants acknowledge that the Event involves inherent risks including but not limited to:
• injury
• death
• property damage
• motorcycle-related accidents
• crowd-related incidents
including risks arising from the negligence of the organisers, employees, contractors or other participants.
3. INDEMNITY
Participants indemnify and hold harmless:
• Liquorice (Pty) Ltd t/a Veldskoen Rally
• the venue owners and operators
• employees, contractors, marshals and volunteers
• sponsors and partners
against any claims, damages, losses or liabilities arising from:
• participation in the Event
• motorcycle activities
• injury, illness or death
• loss or damage to property
4. MOTORCYCLE ACTIVITIES
Motorcycling is inherently dangerous and may result in serious injury or death. Participants:
• participate voluntarily
• ride at their own risk
• must comply with all road traffic laws
• must ensure their motorcycles are roadworthy and legally compliant
The organisers accept no responsibility for incidents occurring on public roads.
5. ALCOHOL, DRUGS AND BEHAVIOUR
5.1 Alcohol Restrictions
The sale and consumption of alcohol shall be strictly regulated in accordance with applicable legislation.
No alcohol will be sold or supplied to persons under the age of 18 years. Proof of age may be requested at any time.
5.2 Intoxication
The organisers reserve the right to:
• refuse entry to any person who appears intoxicated
• refuse the sale of alcohol
• remove any person who is intoxicated or behaving in a disorderly manner No refund shall be applicable.
5.3 Prohibited Substances
The possession, use or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. Any person found in possession of such substances may:
• be removed from the Event
• be reported to the South African Police Service
5.4 Unruly or Dangerous Behaviour
Any person who:
• behaves aggressively or abusively
• endangers others
• fails to follow instructions
may be removed from the Event without refund.
6. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Riders must wear appropriate protective gear including:
• approved helmet
• protective clothing
• gloves
• suitable footwear
Participants must comply with all safety instructions issued by officials.
7. VENUE RULES
Participants must:
• comply with venue rules
• use designated parking areas
• not damage property
• adhere to environmental and fire safety requirements
8. PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are prohibited:
• firearms or weapons
• illegal drugs
• fireworks or explosives
• unauthorised trading or vending
The organisers reserve the right to search persons, vehicles and bags.
9. MINORS AND CHILD SAFETY
9.1 PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY / MINORS
All persons under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Such adult accepts full responsibility for the minor’s safety, supervision and conduct at all times.
Persons aged 18 years and older attend and participate entirely at their own risk and responsibility.
9.3 Restricted Areas
Minors may be restricted from:
• bar areas
• adult zones
• motorcycle activity zones
9.4 Removal
The organisers reserve the right to remove minors and/or their accompanying adult where safety concerns arise.
10. MEDICAL TREATMENT
Participants consent to emergency medical treatment if required. Medical services are limited to emergency response.
All costs remain for the participant.
11. PROPERTY AND PARKING
Participants are responsible for their own vehicles and belongings. The organisers are not liable for:
• theft
• loss
• damage
Participants are liable for damage caused to property.
12. MEDIA CONSENT
Participants consent to photography and video recording.
The organisers may use such material for promotional purposes without compensation.
13. PERSONAL INFORMATION (POPIA)
Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
14. REMOVAL FROM EVENT
The organisers reserve the right to:
• refuse entry
• remove any person
who violates these Terms and Conditions.
15. FORCE MAJEURE
The organisers shall not be liable for cancellation or disruption due to: • weather
• government restrictions
• safety concerns
• riots or unrest
• any circumstances beyond their control
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
17. GENERAL
The organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms where necessary.
