Who We Are

Veldskoen Rally is organised by Vlam Barnard under Liquorice (Pty) Ltd, trading as Veldskoen Rally. The rally was born from a simple idea: North West deserves its own rally. One that is built properly. One that riders can trust. One that puts the bike first and everything else second.

This is not a corporate production. This is a rider-led event built on grit, local pride, and the belief that the North West has something worth gathering for. Klerksdorp Dam is the venue. The road in is yours.

The Event

Four days. One dam. Motorbikes only. No cars. No quad bikes. No cages.

• Live entertainment across the full weekend — MC Dirkie, Hans Drommedaris, Wonderlust, Vurkmeister, Rebourn Band, Monique West, Candy Benson, Ysterperd Tert, Johan Wulf
• Two live motorcycle draws on Saturday night — QJ SRT 900 and Suzuki Hayabusa
• Daytime Rider Gear and Kit Giveaways throughout the weekend
• Camping included with every access ticket — dam-side, no extra charge
• 14 curated food stalls — boerewors roll, steak roll, sosatie, curry and rice, and more
• ProWatch private security on site — gate, patrol, and car guards day and night
• Co Prime Emergency medical services — minimum 2 ambulances and 4 medics on shift
• Sunday morning church service at 09:00

Why North West

North West has the riders. North West has the roads. North West has the dam. What it did not have was a rally of its own — one built here, run here, and proud of it. Veldskoen Rally changes that.

Every vendor on site is local. Every rand spent at the rally stays in the province. This is not just an event — it is economic injection for the North West, delivered one access ticket at a time.

Draw Compliance

Both motorcycle draws are conducted in accordance with Section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act. These are promotional competitions incidental to ticket and merchandise purchases. They are not gambling. They are not a lottery.

Both draws are overseen by an independent auditor. Free entry clauses apply. Full terms and conditions are published on this website.
