About the Rally
Built for the
Road. Not the Room.
Veldskoen Rally 2026 is a striking four-day motorcycle rally at Klerksdorp Dam in the North West Province. From 24 to 27 September 2026, riders gather for camping, live entertainment, local food, rally activities and two live motorcycle draws.
Who We Are
Veldskoen Rally is led by Vlam Barnard and the Veldskoen Rally organising team. It began with a clear idea: the North West deserves a motorcycle rally of its own, built by people who understand the road, the community and the work required to host riders properly.
This is a locally rooted rally shaped by practical planning, North West pride and a shared love of motorcycles. Klerksdorp Dam provides the setting. Riders, clubs, vendors, artists and local partners bring the weekend to life.
The Event
Four days at Klerksdorp Dam, built around motorcycles, camping, entertainment and the people who make rally culture what it is. Cars and support vehicles use the designated parking areas outside the main rally area.

- QJ SRT 900 draw at 20:00 on Saturday 26 September 2026
- Suzuki Hayabusa draw at 22:00 on Saturday 26 September 2026
- Daytime giveaways and rally activities throughout the weekend
- Camping included with eligible full weekend access tickets
- A colourful selection of food and trade vendors
- Security provided by CSS Security Klerksdorp
- On-site emergency medical services provided by Noxems
- Sunday morning church service at 09:00
Why North West
The North West has the riders, the roads and the open space. Veldskoen Rally creates a gathering rooted in this province, with Klerksdorp Dam as its home for the 2026 event.
The rally creates opportunities for local vendors, service providers, artists, clubs and sponsors while bringing riders and visitors into Klerksdorp. It is a practical investment in the local event economy and a proud new date on the South African rally calendar.
Motorcycle Draws
Veldskoen Rally includes two separate motorcycle draws. An eligible Full Throttle weekend access ticket includes one entry into the QJ SRT 900 draw. The selected entrant must be present at the rally to win.
Entry into the Suzuki Hayabusa draw is through the purchase of the official R200 Veldskoen Rally Hayabusa keyring. The selected Hayabusa entrant does not need to be present at the rally to win.
