Motorbike Rallies in South Africa 2026 — Veldskoen Rally is Coming to the North West
If you’re looking for motorbike rallies in South Africa in 2026, put this one on your radar. Veldskoen Rally 2026 runs from 24 to 27 September at Klerksdorp Dam in the North West Province. It’s an old-school open motorcycle rally bringing riders, clubs, supporters and the wider biker community together for four days at the dam.
What is Veldskoen Rally?
Veldskoen Rally is an old-school open motorcycle rally. You don’t have to belong to a motorcycle club and you don’t have to own a motorcycle to attend. Cars and support vehicles must use the designated parking areas.
The Rally runs for four days at Klerksdorp Dam, with camping, live entertainment, food and retail vendors, rider activities and major motorcycle prizes. See the entertainment schedule and what’s on at the Rally.

Two Major Motorcycle Draws — One Night
Saturday 26 September is Draw Night at Veldskoen Rally 2026, with the QJ SRT 900 draw at 20:00 followed by the Suzuki Hayabusa draw at 22:00. Each competition has its own entry requirements and rules.
QJ SRT 900 Draw
Eligible holders of a valid Ignition Edition or Full Throttle weekend ticket receive one QJ SRT 900 draw entry per eligible person. Buying multiple eligible Access Tickets in the same person’s name does not create additional QJ entries. Day Access and child access do not qualify for QJ entry.
QJ entry and registration close at 17:00 on Saturday 26 September 2026. The draw begins at 20:00 and you must be physically present to win.
Ten eligible entrants are selected from the official QJ database and called to the stage. Each selected entrant’s name may be called up to three times, with a maximum of two minutes to report. If a selected entrant does not report in time, another eligible entrant is selected until ten eligible entrants are physically present on stage.
There are ten boxes. Each of the ten finalists receives or selects a box according to the official draw procedure. One box contains the key that starts the QJ SRT 900. The entrant whose key successfully starts the motorcycle wins, subject to final verification.

2026 Suzuki Hayabusa Draw
The official Veldskoen Rally keyring costs R200. Each completed keyring purchase includes one entry into the 2026 Suzuki Hayabusa draw. Multiple keyring purchases are allowed, with one entry for each valid purchase.
Keyrings are collection only and are not couriered. A valid entry remains in the draw even if the physical keyring has not yet been collected.
Paid Hayabusa entries close at 21:00 on Saturday 26 September 2026. The draw takes place at 22:00. The winner does not need to be present at the Rally. The draw is conducted from the official competition database and independently overseen or verified in accordance with the competition rules.
Access Tickets
The current standard weekend ticket for Veldskoen Rally 2026 is:
- Full Throttle — R500 for full weekend Rally access.
Full Throttle includes full weekend access, bring-your-own-tent camping, a steel Veldskoen Rally badge and one QJ SRT 900 draw entry per eligible person.
Ignition Edition — R450 was the early-bird weekend ticket. Ignition Edition sales are now closed, but valid previously purchased Ignition Edition tickets remain valid for Rally access, BYOT camping, a steel Rally badge and QJ eligibility.
Day Access — R250 provides Rally access for the applicable day. Day Access does not include camping, a steel Rally badge or entry into the QJ SRT 900 draw.
Children aged 4–12 enter free. Ages 13–17 are R50 per day. Under-18s are not permitted in the entertainment arena and remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian.

Entertainment
Live entertainment runs throughout Veldskoen Rally weekend, with artists and performers taking to the stage from Thursday through Saturday. Sunday morning includes a church service at 09:00. View the current entertainment schedule and Rally programme.
Accommodation at Klerksdorp Dam
Bring-your-own-tent camping is included with Full Throttle and previously purchased Ignition Edition weekend tickets. Day Access and child access do not include camping.
Glamping is also available as a separately booked accommodation option and does not include your Rally Access Ticket.
Caravan spots, cottages and rondavels are fully booked.

Vendor and Stall Applications
Veldskoen Rally vendor stalls are R2,000 for the full weekend. A standard stall is 4m × 4m and includes access for up to four attendants. Stalls are limited and categories close once they are full.

How to Get Rally Access
Full Throttle weekend access is R500 and can be purchased online before the Rally. Full Throttle weekend access will also be available at the Rally gates for R500, with cash and card payments accepted. Buying online beforehand is recommended to reduce delays when entering the venue.
Your Full Throttle ticket includes full weekend access, BYOT camping, a steel Rally badge and one QJ SRT 900 draw entry per eligible person.
